The story of the Allstars Soccer Team began in 2019, when a small group of about six friends came together with a simple but powerful idea — to create a space for fun, fitness, and connection. Living in a country where many immigrants work tirelessly with little time to relax, mingle, or exercise, we saw the need for something different.
What started as a casual thought quickly turned into action. We began reaching out to friends, encouraging them to invite others, and soon the circle began to grow. Out of our own pockets, we provided refreshments to make the experience more enjoyable and welcoming after each game.
We collectively agreed to make it a Saturday morning tradition, and gradually, more people started showing up. As participation increased, we took a step further by setting up a registered team account to support our activities — from securing playing fields to organizing post-game gatherings and even traveling for competitions within and beyond our state.
Beyond just football, Allstars became something much bigger — a community. It has greatly contributed to our mental well-being, helped us stay physically fit, and created a strong bond among members.
Today, it is more than just a game — it is a weekly experience we all look forward to, a time to unwind, connect, and celebrate life together.
